This letter should adequately express the applicants desire to study Islam at the University and it should be written in Arabic and attached to the application like a cover page. The letter should not be more than a single page in length or so. This paperwork is extremely important since it’s exclusion could cause applicants files to be overlooked.

Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University provides the same financial benefits and advantages that the Islamic University of Madinah provides as mentioned here. Along with these benefits and advantages, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University does have a women’s section, unlike the Islamic University of Madinah which is a male-only University, but this section of the University does not offer scholarships to foreign women to study. The Arab women that do attend are either housed in their own dorms or remain with family members living in Riyadh.
The program at Umm al-Qura University in Makkah, Saudi Arabia presents the best opportunity for non-Saudi female students of knowledge to study in a formal classroom setting. Please click here for more information.

Asalamualekum,
For Madina University there is a age limit 25 and one can not enter after that. Is that the same for Imam Saud Uni. I dont see any thing here which says maximum age limit is 25.
Also Madinah Univ has a requirement that the person should atleast learn 18 Juz before he can enter the uni. Is that a req for Imam Saud Uni as well
Would appreciate a reply
Mansoor
Walaikum As Salamu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
The cut-off age for Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University is 25. The reason it is not mentioned is that Al-Imam University is usually more lenient than the Islamic University of Madinah is accepting students above 25 years of age.
The Islamic University of Madinah has no requirement that the applicant should have memorized atleast 18 juz before seeking admission. Most of the foreign students who are accepted know about 1 or 2 juzz.
BarakAllahu Feekum.

Jazaka Allaah khayr
Salam Alaykum,
Is there a form that must be filled out for the medical examination?
Do all documents have to be authenticated or just the no objection letter?
Jazak Allah Khair
Walaikum As Salamu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
At the time of application, no special form must be filled out for the medical examination. Just get your family doctor to write an official letter on his clinics letterhead, that you are in sound physical condition, do not suffer from any diseases, and are able to study overseas.
The authentication of documents can be left off until you are accepted to the University.
May Allah help and aid you.
Salam Alaykum,
Do you know if any of the 3 school are still accepting applications for admission. I would like to attend as soon as possible.
Is Imam University accepting application for the next school year? (September of 09) I think this is when the next school year starts, please correct me if I’m wrong.

You must apply for the Bachelors at the University, and after successfully completing the 4 year Bachelors program with the required grades, you will need to apply for entrance into the Masters program.
As Salamu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
Brother thanks a lot for yout site.
let me explain my stion. This year I will be 25, I have basic arabic, there is no saudy embassy in my country. What should I do?
Jazak Allah Khair
Walaikum As Salamu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
Having no Saudi Embassy in your country does not concern you at the present moment. You should complete all the required documents and either mail/post them to the University, or personally visit the University to apply.
In the case that you have been granted acceptance, the University will decide to which Saudi Embassy in a neighboring country to send your visa.
May Allah help and aid you.

BarakAllahu Feeka.
As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah
I live in the netherlands if I want to apply do I have to translate my diploma. and my diploma is similiar to what they in the UK call GCSE, is this also accpeted and I also studied for one year at a university for a BBA but I failed, does this have an affect.
jazak Allahu kHair wa salam alaikum
To Sunna from Iran:
Walaikum As Salamu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
It is favorable for you to translate your diploma into the Arabic language. The GCSE certificate or that which is equivalent to it is accepted by the University. You failing the BBA at the university has no effect on your application. The University only wants to see proof of you completing your secondary (high school) education.
May Allah help and aid you.
Hellow imam university al-islamia why? you don,t give permission to study university over 25? i,m living in EU lot of people over 40 years they like to study islamic university but you don,t give chance so could you change that old rule if the islam to learn is same, because phropet moxamed said if you want to learn minal-mahdi ila luhdi,so where you bring this rule it is against what he said phropet moxamed.
otherside ashaab rasuulilaahi they was learn even 80 years old.
lot of thanks
To Abdinor:
As Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
Statistically, older students do not stay – they have family members to look after, businesses, positions in communities, health problems, and it is difficult to return to the classroom atmosphere after being away from it for so many years. Our brothers in the University administration have a budget to look after and they are responsible for their decisions. You yourself would probably set an age limit if you worked in the same position and Allah knows best. By no means are they saying those over 40 are not fit to study Islam, rather they are simply making decisions about who receives their scholarships.
May Allah reward our noble brother Abul-Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (post-graduate American student from Umm al-Qura University in Makkah) for presenting this insightful answer.
May Allah make it easy for you and help and aid you.
Asalam’alaykum Wa Rahmutallahi Wa Barakatuh

To Wasim:
Walaikum As Salamu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
The best time to apply would be during the month of Ramadhan before the 20th of Ramadhan, or after the first week of Shawwal.
You must send your application to a current student at the University, who will submit it at the University on your behalf.
May Allah help and aid you.
When will the list containing the names of the accepted students get out for riyadh?

I’d like to attend a university in Saudi Arabia but the problem is that I only see male trying to be enrolled and I asked why, than people told me its only for male students and females are not allowed to register for these universities. So is that true and if not what kind of universities can women enroll in?
jazakallah khairan.
To Fardosa:
Walaikum As Salamu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
Umm al-Qura University (Makkah, Saudi Arabia) presents the best opportunity for non-Saudi female students of knowledge to study in a formal classroom setting. The system at Umm al-Qura allows for the wife or sister of an existing student to study at the womens’ section of the University. Their program also grants admission to women to study if they are applying along with their husband or brother.
May Allah help and aid you.
when are to do another admission
To Ismail:
As Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
You may apply from now until Hajj season to be considered for admission for the September 2010 academic term.

Assalamualaikum brother Abu Abdullaah,
May Allah reward you for your service………
In a previous post you said that, we must send our application to a current student at the University, who will submit it at the University on our behalf.
The question is, we don’t have access to any of the current students at the university, so how do we submit the application???
If you are a current student, can I forward my application to you?????????????????
Yusuf again brother…
Is there any Arabic language requirements for Al Imam university?
And do I need to submit my Original certificates? because I only have one copy of original certificate for all my certificates. So if i don’t get it back, ill be in trouble…..
To Yusuf:
As Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has an Arabic language teaching institute for those applicants who are not familiar with the Arabic language. Applicants do not have to be in possession of the Arabic language to be considered for admission by the University.
You must only submit photocopies of your certificates. Do not submit the originals.
May Allah help and aid you.
how do you contact a current student at the uni?
Is there an postal address so we may send our applications via mail?
W.salam
Also, does the Tazkiyyat require two seprate documents or can there be just one but photocopied.
Hope that makes sence :)
Assalamualikum
